Society for Rural Improvement (SRI) is a Voluntary Organization, integrating programmes and consciously working towards the development and long term sustainability in rural communities for empowerment, capacity building and social transformation to sustain themselves and to improve their economic status, social sensitivity and a culture in which all are self-reliant.

To protect street children / youth and related groups in rural communities, identify and provide them with livelihood opportunities including vocational trainings to lead a better life. Education is the medium through which the development takes place and Women are the most marginalized people in rural areas and we nurture them to achieve better livelihood for the community at large.


SRI’s mission is a movement for an empowered India, thereby making the world a better place to live in, especially the children / youth should have sustainable platform to explore opportunities to revamp their lifestyles. The organization that is responsible for respecting and fulfilling peoples’ needs as well as human rights identified and held accountable. SRI identifies and work alongside with economically and socially deprived, the physically and mentally challenged especially with children, so that they become educated, skilled and aware. Thus enable them to be self-reliant and enjoy a healthy, dignified and sustainable quality of life
